£1m North East Content Fund Launched by Northern Film & Media

Northern Film & Media is pleased to announce the launch of the region’s first content fund for film, TV, games, interactive media and music. The fund is run through funds made available by ONE North East, the regional development agency for the North East of England.
The North East Content Fund is a £1m investment fund that aims to ensure projects across film, TV, games, interactive media and music are developed and put into production here in the North East of England.
Northern Film & Media aims to help build an industry that is producing engaging and innovative content for national and international screens and markets.
The fund will create jobs and bring investment into the region. Commerciality of the project is important though creativity and innovation are also factors in our decision making process.
Applicants can be from either inside or outside of the North East region. This is a rolling fund and there is no deadline in place.
