Friday 05th February, 2010
The Producer Placement programme, funded by the Skillset Film Skills Fund, has five places available for up and coming film producers looking for an insight into the working operations of the film industry.
The scheme is intended to provide up and coming film producers with insight into the working operations and business realities of the film market. By gaining a greater understanding of commercial processes, they will develop the business acumen and market understanding to be able to initiate, finance and sell successful British films.
The programme runs from April to September and puts new producers into work placements in key businesses across the UK film industry. Deadline for applications is 19 February. For more on eligibility and how to apply, visit the website.
The Programme is funded by the Skillset Film Skills Fund as part of
'A Bigger Future' - the UK's Film Skills Strategy.
The Programme is run by production company Magic Light Pictures, in
association with Skillset. Skillset is the industry body which supports
skills and training for people and businesses to ensure the UK creative
media industries maintain their world-class position.
