Welcome to the Northern Film & Media website. Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, we are a creative industry development agency investing in film, TV, digital media, and music activity in the North East.


Combining industry expertise, knowledge and contacts with a focus on delivering production, developing talent and promoting market access, our activities build growth into the North East creative industries.

Our mission is to 'introduce the talent to the market and to introduce the market to the talent'. We do this by investing in talent and ideas. 

Since our launch 10 years ago, we have leveraged £80m of investment in the North East creative industries.
