Here you can find out more about Northern Film & Media’s Community Documentary Scheme, Capture, as well as hear from the filmmakers commissioned this year through their video diaries and blogs.
Northern Film & Media in partnership with Community Channel and Sheffield Doc/Fest have now commissioned the films for Capture ‘10.
The projects will be completed over the following six months and will be premiered at a screening later in the year, before receiving their broadcast premieres on Community Channel.
Based on ideas developed in partnership with Sheffield Doc/Fest, this year’s films will be:

Bless You (3 mins), Yacine Helali
The Library in My Mind (10 mins), Charly Conquest and Jamie Hamer
Rain Woman (10 mins), Susan Mahal and Kavita Puri
Hip Hop is Dead (10 mins), Nick Light
Is it ‘cos I’m fat? (27 mins), Andy T Smith
