What to say? Life is good. I'm making my first doc for Capture 09 about a subject that is important to me. My husband is organising The Good Vibration concert that takes place on November 27 and 28 in Newcastle upon Tyne a special event to raise awareness about the issues facing connected care organisations such as NECA (North East Council for Addiction) - so the subject of the documentary is part of an ongoing conversation in our house.
However, I've already discovered, after meetings with the various professionals on the Capture scheme, that if I want to create something special that gets under the skin of the subject, I have to deposit all preconceptions of how I might want the documentary to be and allow the story to reveal itself. Difficult! More later.
