Applications open for Guiding Lights mentoring programme

Applications for Lighthouse’s Guiding Lights film talent development initiative are open until Thursday 18 October.

Delivered by Brighton-based digital culture agency Lighthouse, the national talent programme will provide an opportunity for 12 upcoming writers, directors and producers to undertake a 9-month mentoring, training and networking programme. Previous mentors include Danny Boyle, Sam Mendes, Barbara Broccoli, Paul Greengrass, Alex Garland, Kenneth Branagh, Alison Owen, Stephen Frears and Nick Hornby.

Guiding Lights is majority funded by the Creative Skillset Film Skills Fund as part of ‘A Bigger Future 2’, the UK film skills strategy. The Creative Skillset Film Skills Fund is supported by the National Lottery through the BFI, and the film industry through the Skills Investment Fund.
