Newcastle date confirmed for low budget filmmaking scheme launch
Creative England has teamed with Northern Film & Media and Tyneside Cinema to deliver an event in Newcastle on 12 April to mark the launch of low budget filmmaking initiative iFeatures 2.
iFeatures2 executive producer Tristan Goligher and Chris Moll, Creative England’s head of talent will be discussing the objectives of the initiative, which will produce three full-length features in the English regions with the support of the BFI Film Fund and BBC Films.
"We’re looking for filmmakers who want to tell fresh and imaginative stories that can move, entertain and challenge audiences across the world,” said a Creative England spokesperson.
iFeatures 2 is open to producer, writer and director teams with a track-record in film or a related creative field such as TV or theatre.
