Spark Media is a portfolio of consultancy, courses, workshops and business services from Teesside University which can help to advance your creative professional development and your business.
From the tricky pre-start up stages, through to expansion, product development and diversification, whether you’re a new business, a freelancer new to the industry or looking to expand and diversify, Spark Media aims to help.
Join them at the Toffee Factory - Newcastle’s newest digital media hub - where they will showcase the pick ‘n’ mix of services that have helped them become a noted business-facing university, with partnerships and collaborations including work with Apple, Endemol and Hyper Island.
The featured speaker is Paula Le Dieu, Director of Digital at the BFI. Paula is in charge of all aspects of the organisation’s digital strategy, including growing online audiences and developing revenue streams such as e-commerce and on-line ticketing. Paula’s presence will be of interest to anyone wanting to fund, create and distribute their work in the current climate.
There will also be presentations from DigitalCity Innovation, which has helped create over 100 businesses in the last three years, and a chance to discuss business development and graduate placement opportunities with them.
